Our take
The LiveTrak L-12 is a Swiss Army knife for audio. I can record 12 tracks to SD, use it as a 4x4 USB interface, and mix live simultaneously. The included Samson SR350 headphones are decent, and the mixer bag makes transport easy. The build is plastic but functional. My biggest gripe: the price is steep at $730, and you're paying for features you might not need. Also, the preamps are okay but not stellar. Still, for a band that records rehearsals and does small gigs, it's a solid all-in-one.
